Hal Turley, W8HC
First licensed in 1967, Hal is a #1 Honor Roll member with 350 DXCC entities confirmed and 10-band DXCC. Has has participated with many DXpeditions over the past 15 years ( https://www.qrz.com/db/W8HC) including remote operations with previous AA7JV Radio in a Box (RIB) projects at C6AGU, E51D and VP6A.
Hal is currently involved in the upcoming November 3D2Z Rotuma DXpedition https://rotuma2024.com/ that includes 3 "Next Generation" (young) DXpeditioners and a unique partnership with Youth on the Air (YOTA) and 30 young, aspiring DXpedition operators who will be participating in the 3D2Z DXpedition using remote technology.
Hal retired from the Dow Chemical Company as site shift leader at its West Virginia Operations after 40-years in chemical manufacturing. He serves as Secretary-Treasurer of INDEXA and is actively involved with his local club - West Virginia DX Association (W8AH).
