Ewan Alexander, KK7EXT

Ewan received his General license in 2022 at the age of 12 and will be studying for his Extra over the summer. He enjoys chasing DX and participating in Field Day and contesting with his brother and Dad. He has a passion for POTA and SSB, having activated over 50 parks in 15 status.  He recently achieved DXCC and is working towards multiple bands. He has been a youth net control station for his local Ham club and was part of a team led by his brother that placed 2nd WW in the 2022 FT-Roundup and #2 North America in the 2022 WW-DIGI contest. Ewan has also activated the K8(YOTA) callsigns during the past 2 year YOTA events. Ewan is a member of the Western Washington DX Club, Lake Washington HAM club and an ARRL member.
